Tesla's stationary storage line is a single product family, Megapack, sold as an AC block with integrated inverters and thermal system on a built-in foundation. Megapack 2 XL is the current volume product (2h: 1,927 kW / 3,854 kWh; 4h: 979 kW / 3,916 kWh per unit, 480 V AC, IP66, UL 1973 / 9540 / 9540A / 1741, IEC 62619, 20-year warranty), built in Lathrop and Shanghai (80 GWh/yr combined). Megapack 3 (about 5 MWh AC per unit, LFP cells sourced from the US, Southeast Asia and China, simplified thermal bay with 78% fewer connections) started rolling off the line at Megafactory Texas on 6 August 2026; Megablock integrates four Megapack 3 units with a transformer and switchgear into a pre-engineered medium-voltage block (20 MWh AC, 91% round-trip efficiency at MV incl. auxiliaries, -40 to 60 C, >10,000 cycles, 25-year life), with deliveries scheduled for H2 2026. Tesla is a system integrator for Megapack (cells purchased, chemistry LFP). Not disclosed publicly: cell supplier and cell Ah, cell configuration, per-unit power of Megapack 3, cycle-life test conditions, detailed datasheet PDFs (the public site only exposes a spec pop-up in the order configurator).
