Trina Storage

Trina Storage is the battery-storage business of Trina Solar Co., Ltd. (SSE 688599); the operating entity is Trina Energy Storage Solutions (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., established in 2015 in Changzhou. Unlike most integrators, Trina makes its own prismatic LFP cells (306/314 Ah, and a 587 Ah cell for Elementa 3) and publishes a cell datasheet. The utility-scale line is the Elementa family of liquid-cooled 20 ft high-cube DC containers: Elementa 2 (4,073 kWh with 306 Ah cells or 5,015 kWh with 314 Ah cells), Elementa 2 Pro (5,015 kWh, 2–8 h, up to 12,000 cycles claimed) and Elementa 3 (587 Ah, 6.25 MWh, announced December 2025, US launch May 2026). In North America Trina sells the Elementa 2 Pro Platform, an AC-integrated 10/20 MWh package with PCS, transformer and EMS. A compact 1.56 MWh 'Elementa 3 Flex' cabinet was previewed for Japan in March 2026. Datasheets list UL 9540, UL 9540A, UL 1973, IEC 62619 and CE. What is not disclosed: DC-block power ratings and C-rates, round-trip efficiency, cycle-test conditions, warranty terms, and any Elementa 3 spec sheet; no C&I cabinet is offered on the English sites, and no press-kit or image licence exists.
