Gotion High-Tech

Gotion High-Tech is a Chinese lithium-ion cell and battery-system manufacturer founded in 2006 in Hefei, listed in Shenzhen (002074) and via GDRs in Zurich, with Volkswagen as its largest shareholder. It produces its own LFP prismatic cells for stationary storage (100, 300, 314, 330 Ah in production; 588 and 688 Ah announced) and reports over 68 GWh of cumulative ESS shipments to 2025. Utility products: the Gotion Grid 5 MWh 20ft liquid-cooled DC container (314 Ah, 1P104S packs, made in Hefei and Göttingen), the 7 MWh container on 588 Ah cells (announced 2025), the modular Grid Q 20 MWh cabin (air+liquid cooling, 25-year design life, CGC/CSA certificates) and the Grid Gen2 / Grid Q 2.0 high-voltage cascaded 5 MW/18.8 MWh grid-forming AC system (2026). Legacy 20ft units (2.7 MWh air-cooled, 3.42 and 4.6 MWh liquid-cooled, 300 Ah) remain on the Indonesian site. C&I: Gotion Edge liquid-cooled DC cabinets (760/836 kWh) and all-in-one units (211–522 kWh) for CE and UL markets. Not disclosed: PDF datasheets, system power ratings and RTE for the 5/7/20 MWh containers, cycle-life test conditions, warranty terms, and any image-use licence; product tables on the US site are published as images and IEC/UL listings differ between regional sites.
