À propos de Prevalon Energy (Nextpower)
Prevalon Energy LLC, based in Heathrow, Florida, is the former battery-storage unit of Mitsubishi Power Americas, spun out in late 2023 as a joint venture with EES and sold to Nextpower (formerly Nextracker) for up to $365 million (closed 17 July 2026). It integrates rather than manufactures: cells and modules come from AESC under a 10 GWh multi-year agreement (2026), earlier partnerships covered REPT cells, and enclosures are built by contract manufacturers such as Clou — a reason it does not appear on BNEF's Tier 1 list, which excludes outsourced brands. The line is the HD5 platform: HD5 DC (5 MWh, 314 Ah LFP, liquid-cooled 20-ft enclosure paired with a 5 MVA inverter-MVT skid, 2–8 h) and HD5 AC, launched May 2026 (5 MWh, 315 Ah, integrated string PCS, self-powered auxiliaries), plus a Hybrid Power Stabilizer for data centres. Both spec sheets list UL 1973, UL 9540A ed4, UL 9540, UL 1741, IEEE 1547, NFPA 855/69/70 and >8,000 cycles to 65% SOH; a CSA TS-800 large-scale fire test was completed in April 2025. Not disclosed: cell configuration, DC RTE, warranty; spec sheets are marked 'design estimates only'. No press kit or image licence is published.
