Khazna QAJ01 in Ajman is the operator's first purpose-built AI data center in the UAE, designed from the outset around direct liquid cooling rather than the air-cooled halls that make up the rest of the company's portfolio. The site is laid out as 20 separate data halls of 5 MW each, adding up to 100 MW of IT capacity on a 100,000 sqm plot, making it the largest single facility Khazna has announced to date. The liquid-cooling architecture is aimed at the high rack densities that GPU clusters for AI training and inference require, a design choice that distinguishes QAJ01 from Khazna's earlier Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses, which rely on conventional air cooling across smaller POD-style buildings. Khazna has stated the project has received Uptime Institute Tier III Certification of Design Documents, ahead of construction certification. Ajman itself is a newer addition to Khazna's footprint alongside the established Abu Dhabi and Dubai clusters, reflecting the operator's push to expand beyond its home emirate as AI-driven demand grows across the UAE.
