Review Guidelines

Short and literal: what gets published, what does not, and why. Reviews are part of the Coloprice dataset, so the same rule applies as to every number on the site — it must be verifiable.

Who can leave a review

Current or former customers of the specific facility — people whose company holds or held a colocation contract there. A work email is required: we use it to verify the reviewer and never publish it. Reviews from public mailboxes (gmail, outlook and the like) can be published, but without the “verified work email” badge. Operators, their staff, resellers and agencies acting on their behalf may not review their own or a competitor's facility.

What we verify

That the facility exists in the catalog; that the email domain belongs to a real company and matches the company named; that the role and footprint are plausible; that the same person is not reviewing the same facility twice. We do not verify individual claims inside the text — the reviewer signs the review with their role and company, and that is the accountability.

What we do not publish

Advertising or promotional text, links, contact details; other providers' prices or offers; insults, personal attacks, naming individual employees; reviews of competitors written by operators; content that cannot plausibly come from a customer of that facility; text shorter than 80 characters. Rejected reviews are recorded with the reason in the moderation queue.

How we edit

Spelling and obvious typos only. We do not shorten, soften or rephrase; we do not remove criticism. If a review breaks a rule in one sentence, we ask the author to fix it rather than editing the substance ourselves.

How an operator can respond

For now — by email to the address on the About page, quoting the review ID. A factual response is attached to the review as an “operator response” once the response feature ships; until then we forward it to the reviewer. Operators cannot have a review removed because they disagree with it — only for a rule violation listed above.

Reviews and the Coloprice Score

The Coloprice Score is calculated only from published facts — capacity, certifications, disclosure of specs. Reviews do not enter it and never will: keeping the two separate means neither can be gamed through the other. On facility pages they are shown side by side.

How to remove your review

Write from the same work email you used to submit, quoting the review ID shown on the card. The review is removed in the next publication cycle; the removal is a visible commit like the publication was.
