About FlexGen
FlexGen Power Systems, LLC (founded 2009, Durham, North Carolina) is a US energy-storage integrator whose core product is the HybridOS energy management system (controls, analytics, site SCADA/PPC, and a BMS layer). It positions itself as 'battery vendor agnostic': the company procures batteries, PCS and enclosures from third-party OEMs (its software runs on systems from Trina, Sungrow, Hithium and others), pre-configures them in its lab and commissions sites, then provides lifecycle and remote-operations services. In August 2025 FlexGen acquired the IP, IT systems and spare-parts inventory of bankrupt integrator Powin, and in 2026 it opened European operations (London) with projects in the UK, Finland, Sweden, Portugal and Ukraine, and pursued UL and VDE certification for HybridOS; the EMS received ISO 9001:2015 certification in July 2026. BNEF listed FlexGen as a Tier 1 energy-storage company in 2024–2025 (the only non-manufacturer on the list); its presence on the Q3 2026 list could not be verified. Because FlexGen publishes no branded container, cabinet or block with its own datasheet — cell chemistry, capacity, cooling and certifications depend on the OEM hardware selected per project — this card carries no models. Media images are offered via a downloadable brand kit for news-media use; no explicit reusable licence is stated.
