About Fluence

Fluence is a system integrator: it designs battery packs, modules, BMS, enclosures and the Fluence OS controls, and buys LFP cells from several OEMs. Current line-up: Smartstack, an AC-based split architecture (Smart Skid with PCS, cooling and controls plus stackable battery pods) in 7.5 MWh and 10 MWh pack options, 2–8 h durations, 690 V AC output, IP55, -30 to +55 C, liquid cooled, UL 9540A / UL 9540 / NFPA 68/69 / IEC 62933; manufacturing started in Vietnam in September 2025 with deliveries from Q4 2025. Gridstack Pro is a liquid-cooled DC block: 2000 Series (2,436 kWh, 40 ft-class enclosure) and 5000 Series (4,872–5,016 kWh with 3XX Ah cells or 5,644 kWh with 5XX Ah cells, 20 ft-class), >87% RTE, IP55, -20 to +50 C. A US domestic-content configuration uses AESC 305 Ah LFP cells from Tennessee and modules built in Utah. Legacy Gridstack (Fluence Cube, air or liquid cooled) is still listed. Not disclosed: cell suppliers beyond AESC, cell configuration, per-variant AC power for Smartstack, cycle life, warranty terms and Smartstack RTE; brochures state that specifications are design estimates only.
