Triara MegaCenter, in Medellín, is Claro Colombia's data center for the country's second-largest metro, complementing the flagship Triara facility on the Bogotá–Medellín highway. Opened in 2019 and modernized in 2025 with an investment of more than US$13 million, the building spans 6,632 m² of constructed area and runs on 5 MW of installed power. Cooling uses precision climate control with dual-path UPS and clean-agent fire suppression, backed by two electrical substations and five generators rated for up to 48 hours of autonomy. Claro states the facility holds ICREA Level IV certification, corresponding to a stated 99.99 percent availability target — one tier below the Level V rating the operator claims for its Bogotá–Medellín Triara flagship. The site forms part of a four-data-center national network Claro operates under the Triara brand alongside facilities in Bogotá and a fourth site in Barranquilla, and represents the company's push to extend enterprise and carrier-grade colocation beyond the capital into Colombia's other major industrial and financial center.
