Kemet is Intro Group's planned data center in the Integrated Sokhna Industrial Zone, part of the Suez Canal Economic Zone east of Cairo. In September 2026 the company reviewed implementation plans with Egypt's ICT minister and said the first phase would involve about US$270 million of investment, within a facility designed for a total of 80 MW across roughly 80,000 square meters and two phases. Intro states that engineering designs are complete and that contracts with equipment and systems suppliers have been signed, and that the site will be partly powered by solar energy. The operator aims for the first Tier III facility in the zone; no certificate has been published. The project was first announced in 2024 in a memorandum with Oman Data Park, at a larger headline figure, and later reports describe a phased build with a completion target around 2030. The relationship between the earlier and current investment figures has not been explained, so the listing records only the capacity and phase figures the company itself has stated. Planned services include cloud and IoT offerings. Construction start and opening dates have not been announced.
