Telecom Egypt Regional Data Hub (RDH)

Telecom Egypt's Regional Data Hub (RDH) is the incumbent operator's flagship commercial colocation facility, marketed on Telecom Egypt's own business site as a data-center-and-colocation offering for enterprise customers. The Uptime Institute's public registry lists the building with three separate awards under the client name Telecom Egypt: a Tier III Certification of Design Documents, a Tier III Certification of Constructed Facility, and a Tier III Gold Certification of Operational Sustainability — the highest operational-sustainability tier Uptime issues, and one held by relatively few facilities in Africa or the Middle East. Telecom Egypt operates several other Uptime-certified buildings in the Cairo area, including a second Regional Data Hub (RDH2) and a Telecom Egypt Digital Data Center in Giza, both catalogued separately; RDH is the only one of the group with the full three-stage certification. Neither Telecom Egypt's site nor the Uptime registry discloses IT power capacity, floor area or an exact street address for RDH, so those fields are left unpublished.
