OVHcloud Roubaix Campus

OVHcloud's story starts in Roubaix, and the company still runs its flagship campus beside its headquarters in this northern French city near the Belgian border. The estate has grown into eight data center buildings which OVHcloud says host around 120,000 servers, with reported capacity for roughly 300,000; it is the operational heart of the group's public cloud, private cloud and bare-metal services rather than a retail colocation site. The buildings follow OVHcloud's segregation logic - server halls are physically separated from dedicated electrical buildings, with independent cooling systems - and servers use the firm's proprietary water-cooling, manufactured at its factory in nearby Croix. Roubaix belongs to OVHcloud's first SecNumCloud-qualified region (with Gravelines and Strasbourg), and one of the eight buildings houses a SecNumCloud-certified facility protected by dual badge-and-fingerprint authentication. Combined with ISO 27001-family and HDS compliance across French sites, the campus targets European organisations with strict sovereignty, health-data or security-qualification needs.
