The Val-de-Reuil campus in Normandy is Orange's main data center site for enterprise, consumer and internal workloads. Spread across 18 hectares, it hosts two data centers: Normandie 1, in operation since 2012, and Normandie 2, in service since 2021, with room on site for two more. Orange describes the infrastructure as Tier III+ equivalent rather than formally Uptime-certified, and lists ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 27001, ISAE 3402, Mastercard and PCI DSS among its certifications. Normandie 2 was announced with about 16,000 sqm of building area including roughly 5,000 sqm of IT rooms and an investment above 100 million euros for the two-site plan. Free cooling using Normandy's ambient air is used eleven months a year and, per Orange, cuts artificial air conditioning demand by more than 80%. Across its campuses Orange publishes a PUE below 1.3. The campus pairs with Chartres-Mainvilliers, about 100 km away, enabling synchronous replication under 3 ms. Orange does not publish a MW figure for the site.
