NorthC Eindhoven 2 (High Tech Gateway)

High Tech Gateway, branded by NorthC as its second Eindhoven facility, sits on the GDC Eindhoven Acht business park just off the A2 motorway in the Brainport technology region. The 4,000 sqm building holds 4.5 MW of capacity and is built internally to Tier III-equivalent standards, carrying ISO 27001, 9001, 14001, 22301, PCI DSS and SOC 2 Type II attestations. NorthC describes the cooling system as closed-loop, avoiding drinking-water consumption, with capability for liquid and immersion cooling for higher-density workloads alongside standard air cooling. Emergency backup power comes from hybrid generators that can run on green hydrogen as well as diesel, which the operator credits with cutting roughly 75 tonnes of CO2 emissions a year versus conventional generators. The site runs on 100% green energy and shares residual heat with neighbouring tenants on the GDC business park. NorthC connects the facility for interconnection through a partnership with BRE-EFX and positions it to serve the wider Brainport technology cluster around Eindhoven, home to companies such as ASML, Philips, NXP and VDL.
