DC2-Telemark is Green Mountain's second Norwegian campus, located in Rjukan, the historic cradle of Norwegian hydropower. Opened in 2014 on a brownfield site, the facility spans 29,000 square meters across four buildings — two certified to Uptime Institute Tier III standard and two built to customer-specific Tier I requirements. Total site capacity reaches 50 MW, delivered through two independent grid connections fed by six hydroelectric plants in the valley and two additional underground plants within two kilometers. Green Mountain's modular design lets tenants start with 2 MW blocks and combine them up to 10 MW at Tier III or 35 MW at Tier I, with an average PUE between 1.08 and 1.20 thanks to free cooling drawn from the valley's cold water supply. The combination of low-cost hydropower, natural cooling and modular buildout has made Rjukan a reference site for power-dense colocation and HPC deployments in the Nordics.
