Converge ICT Solutions, one of the Philippines' largest broadband operators, inaugurated its Angeles Data Center in Angeles City, Pampanga in March 2026 as the newest addition to its national data-center footprint. The company describes the roughly ₱5 billion facility as an 'AI-ready' site built on a 5,000 square-meter plot, with 12 MW of IT capacity that the operator says is easily scalable, built-in redundancy, and configuration for both data-residency compliance and high-performance/AI-ML workloads. The facility houses Converge Cloud's sovereign cloud infrastructure and is positioned by the company as part of a push to serve as a 'vital hub' for the Philippines' digital economy, alongside its existing Clark, Caloocan and Reliance data centers. Converge states the site is designed to run on renewable energy in future phases.
