Converge ICT Solutions, one of the Philippines' largest broadband operators, inaugurated its Angeles Data Center in Angeles City, Pampanga in March 2026 as the newest addition to its national data-center footprint. The company describes the roughly ₱5 billion facility as an 'AI-ready' site built on a 5,000 square-meter plot, with 12 MW of IT capacity that the operator says is easily scalable, built-in redundancy, and configuration for both data-residency compliance and high-performance/AI-ML workloads. The facility, registered with Uptime Institute under Converge's digital-infrastructure subsidiary Pentagon Digital Global Corp. as the ACX01 Data Center, holds Uptime Tier III certification for both Design Documents and Constructed Facility. It houses Converge Cloud's sovereign cloud infrastructure and is positioned by the company as part of a push to serve as a 'vital hub' for the Philippines' digital economy, alongside its existing Clark, Caloocan and Reliance data centers.
