STT Makati traces back to Globe Telecom's legacy "MK2" data center on Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City, rebranded as STT GDC Philippines was formed as a joint venture between Globe, Ayala Corporation and ST Telemedia Global Data Centres. The operator discloses just over 5 MW of IT load for the site but has not published floor space, year-built or third-party certification details. In 2024-2025, STT GDC opened an upgraded "Data Hall F" within the building following renovation, and frames Makati as the interconnection anchor for its newer Philippine builds — the Fairview campus in Quezon City and the Cavite campus — describing it as one of the most interconnected data centers in the country thanks to its long-established carrier and network relationships from the Globe era. As STT GDC's oldest and most centrally located Philippine site, Makati primarily serves enterprise and carrier customers needing dense connectivity in Metro Manila's financial and business district rather than hyperscale capacity, which the operator has instead concentrated in its newer campuses.
