MEEZA M-Vault 2 — Best data center in Qatar 2026
#1 of 8 · See the list →

M-Vault 2 sits on a dedicated campus in Umm Garn, roughly 10 km from Al Khor and 30 km from MEEZA's Doha headquarters — a deliberate distance meant to make it a physically diverse disaster-recovery site for the company's other data centres. Announced in 2012 alongside M-Vault 3 at a combined investment of QAR 750 million, it opened as the first data centre in the State of Qatar to hold Uptime Institute Tier III certification for both design documents and the constructed facility, and MEEZA still markets it as the first and only LEED Platinum-certified data centre in the MENA region. The site covers roughly 107,600 sq ft (about 10,000 sqm), with about 32,300 sq ft (3,000 sqm) of raised-floor technical space and 5,400 sq ft (500 sqm) of data halls. Power comes from 10 fault-tolerant diesel rotary UPS units backed by 72 hours of onsite fuel storage, rated at 15 MVA of total facility power capacity, with N+2 high-density cooling designed to 2008 ASHRAE guidelines and racks provisioned at 5.7 kVA average, upgradable to 12 kVA.
