GAK Sejong is Naver's second self-built data center campus, opened in November 2023 in Jiphyeon-dong, Sejong Special Self-Governing City, about 130 km south of Seoul. The site spans 294,000 square meters — Naver describes it as equivalent to 41 football pitches — split between a multi-story main building and a dedicated server building, engineered to withstand a magnitude-9.0 earthquake down to individual rack level. At full build-out the campus is designed for up to 600,000 servers and 270 MW of power, with per-rack density running from 11 kW in general server rooms to 20 kW in high-density zones; at opening, disclosed power capacity stood at 47 MW, with Naver targeting more than 130 MW by 2029 through a phased expansion. GAK Sejong earned LEED Platinum certification in 2024, Naver's second data center to do so after GAK Chuncheon, using natural-wind cooling units, solar and geothermal generation, and heat recovery for site heating. In late 2025 Naver disclosed a large Nvidia GPU deal to expand AI computing capacity at the site.
