HostDime's João Pessoa facility, on Avenida São Paulo in the Estados neighborhood, is the US-based operator's flagship site in Brazil's Northeast region — a market where most Tier III-certified colocation still concentrates in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The four-story, roughly 1,858 m² building opened in 2017 and runs on 1.5 MW of total facility capacity, fed by two dedicated substations for utility redundancy. Cooling is handled by 400 tons of independent air-cooled chillers with N+1 redundancy at the 300-ton block level, a conventional but proven design for the region's tropical climate. HostDime states the facility holds a Tier III Design certification from the Uptime Institute, alongside SOC 2 Type II and PCI compliance attestations — the kind of audit trail enterprise and fintech tenants look for outside the two dominant metros. The site anchors HostDime's broader Latin America push, which also includes a larger São Paulo campus in Cotia.
