eStruxture's MTL-2 is the largest single building in Canada's biggest independent colocation portfolio, occupying roughly 187,000 sq ft at 7001 Rue Saint-Jacques in Montreal's Saint-Henri district. The facility carries 30 MW of total power capacity and supports densities up to 30 kW per cabinet, well above the 5-15 kW typical of general-purpose colocation halls, positioning it for high-performance compute and AI-adjacent workloads alongside standard enterprise racks. Cooling is raised-floor with free-cooling optimization, an approach that benefits from Quebec's cold climate and lets the facility cut mechanical cooling load for much of the year. MTL-2 is one of five eStruxture buildings in the Montreal metro — the company's home market and the base for its national buildout across Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver — and sits alongside sister facility MTL-1 in the same general corridor. eStruxture holds PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type II, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2013 certifications across its portfolio, common baseline compliance for regulated colocation tenants such as financial services and healthcare. Montreal's low-cost hydroelectric power and status as a major Canadian network interconnection point are the facility's main draws for tenants choosing it over Toronto.
