Bogotá 1 is the first of two Ascenty data centers in the Colombian capital, built to the same tri-bus power design and dual-coil chilled-water cooling the operator uses across its Latin American portfolio. The site is rated at 10 MW of power capacity across 9,500 sqm of gross space. Electrical backup follows Ascenty's standard three-independent-line-per-hall architecture with generator-plus-static-UPS redundancy and dual diesel tanks rated for 48 hours of autonomy, while cooling uses isolated technical corridors for maintenance access alongside the dual-coil chiller plant. Ascenty markets the facility as carrier-neutral with dedicated telecom meet-me rooms and 24/7 CCTV monitoring with biometric and card-based dual-authentication access control. Unlike the operator's Chilean sites, Ascenty's public Colombia pages do not disclose a rack count or a specific compliance-certification list for Bogotá 1; together with Bogotá 2, the two buildings give the operator about 20 MW of disclosed capacity in Colombia.
