Grupo ASD, a Colombian business-process and IT-outsourcing company with more than 35 years in government, health, financial, education and telecommunications sectors, developed the Monserrate Data Center in Bogotá as dedicated colocation infrastructure separate from its outsourcing operations. The facility holds Uptime Institute Tier III certification of both Design Documents and Constructed Facility, and centers on a 100 sqm IT room built with redundant power systems and intelligent load distribution. Grupo ASD markets the room's modular, scalable architecture as suited to artificial-intelligence and large-language-model workloads alongside conventional enterprise hosting, though the company does not publish IT power capacity in megawatts, rack count or a construction year for the site. As a mid-sized independent operator, Monserrate competes for enterprise and public-sector colocation demand in Bogotá against larger multi-tenant campuses from Equinix, Aligned and Cirion, positioning itself on Grupo ASD's existing relationships in regulated sectors rather than on scale.
