MRS4

MRS4 is the largest of Digital Realty's five disclosed Marseille buildings, part of the operator's subsea-cable gateway campus inside the Enceinte Portuaire at the Port of Marseille alongside MRS1, MRS2, MRS3 and the under-construction MRS5. At about 165,500 square feet (15,400 sqm) it is bigger than MRS1 (145,500 sq ft), MRS2 (119,500 sq ft) and MRS3 (127,500 sq ft), and Digital Realty describes it as part of an expanding campus built to serve domestic, regional and international markets across the Mediterranean gateway routes that link Europe with Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The facility runs 2N cooling redundancy — a step up from the N+1 pattern used at most of the operator's other Marseille buildings — alongside N+1 UPS power, and is powered entirely by renewable energy. MRS4 holds ISO 27001, 45001, 14001, 50001 and 22301, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, the French HDS health-data standard, and BREEAM certification, plus 24/7 onsite security with 30-day CCTV backup and biometric access. No IT power capacity or year-built date is disclosed.
