Caucasus Online is the Georgian carrier that owns the country's strategic international asset: a 1,200 km submarine fibre-optic cable laid across the Black Sea in 2008 by Tyco Electronics, through which it transits internet traffic from Europe to the South Caucasus and the Caspian region, plus terrestrial backbone from Poti to Tbilisi through its subsidiary Georgian Railway Telecom. Since 2021 the company has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Azerbaijan's NEQSOL Holding, which places it inside the Digital Silk Way corridor programme; NEQSOL's project materials put the Black Sea cable's capacity at 2 Tbit/s today, upgradeable to 16 Tbit/s and, with further investment, up to 50 Tbit/s. The colocation offering is correspondingly network-led: full-rack colocation and dedicated cages with a named account manager, engineers on site 24/7, uninterruptible power, air conditioning held at 20-25 degrees Celsius and CCTV monitoring. The company also administers the .GE country-code domain registry. What the operator does not publish is most of what a buyer needs — precise location, IT load, rack inventory, redundancy topology, certification or pricing — and its public site carries no substantive updates after 2020. Treat this as a carrier-hotel option for traffic that must touch the Europe-Caucasus cable rather than as a specified colocation product, and verify the facility's current state directly.
