maincubes FRA04

maincubes FRA04 is the operator's largest development to date, planned for a 26,000 sqm building on a site in Dietzenbach, in the Frankfurt am Main metro area, at Assar-Gabrielsson-Straße 11-13. The company has secured 60 MW of committed power for the site and is designing 40 MW of IT capacity across four modules on two floors, with hot-aisle containment and a choice of air, liquid or hybrid cooling depending on tenant density requirements — maincubes states the design supports rack densities of 40 kW and above. The facility is still in the planning stage, with a targeted ready-for-service date of Q1 2029, and maincubes has published a design PUE target of 1.2 or better. The operator lists an extensive certification roadmap for FRA04 covering EMAS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 27001, ISAE 3402 SOC 1, SOC 2, and TÜV Saarland certification to EN 50600 VK3, though these apply to the design target rather than a completed audit given the facility has not yet been built.
