CyrusOne's FRA5 campus at Industrieweg 45 in Hanau extends the Frankfurt market eastward, offering 54 MW of IT capacity across 18,000 sqm of technical space in two separate three-story buildings. Each data hall is served by a dedicated 9 MW electrical plant, with active/active dual redundant power supplies totalling 90 MVA behind the site. The build quality targets heavy enterprise deployments: 900 mm heavy-duty raised floors under 3,600 mm clear ceiling heights, air-cooled UPS modules that engage mechanical cooling only in high ambient conditions, and closed-loop water systems that keep both PUE and WUE low. The campus is 100% powered by renewable energy and runs a Zero Waste to Landfill program, with BREEAM "Very Good", ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 as target certifications. Security is staffed 24/7/365 with layered access control and video surveillance. FRA5 works for hyperscale and wholesale tenants that want Frankfurt-market capacity at lower site density than the Sossenheim cluster.
