noris network AG is building a new data center in Schwalbach am Taunus, in the Frankfurt metro area, with a targeted opening from 2027. The operator's own materials describe a 30 MW total capacity campus with 7,000 m² of IT floor space, an average power density of 2.8 kW/m², N+1 redundant national-grid feeds backed by HVO generators per building section, and a targeted PUE below 1.2. noris network states the site is being designed for EN 50600 VK3/SK4, TÜV NORD TSI.STANDARD Level 3, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001/BSI-Grundschutz and LEED Platinum, alongside 100% renewable electricity — these are stated design targets rather than certifications already obtained, since the facility has not yet been constructed. The site is planned as a carrier-neutral location with access to Tier I/II carriers and partnerships including Gasline, euNetworks and Colt, and is described as planned to become DE-CIX enabled.
