Verne operates a 40-acre (16-hectare) data center campus in Keflavík, Iceland, built on a former NATO base about ten minutes from Keflavík International Airport. The stand-alone, purpose-built facility has over 140 MW of campus capacity, all powered by Iceland's geothermal and hydroelectric grid, with year-round free cooling and direct liquid-cooling capability for high-density AI and HPC racks built out at 52U. Power infrastructure includes dual 33kV transmission feeds on diverse routes with 2N redundancy for both generators and UPS, while cooling runs at N+2 redundancy. The site is built to a Tier III-equivalent standard and holds ISO 27001:2022, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management-system certifications alongside PCI-DSS. Verne, rebranded from Verne Global, markets the campus as Iceland's principal interconnection hub to Europe and the United States, with direct high-capacity subsea connectivity and services ranging from single-rack colocation to multi-megawatt build-to-suit deployments. The operator has separately switched on a new high-capacity substation with Icelandic grid operator Landsnet and proposed a further expansion targeting up to 120 MW of additional capacity at the same site.
