Equinix MB3 is the operator's fourth IBX data center in Mumbai and its largest disclosed facility in India by floor space, opened in April 2026 adjacent to MB2 in the Chandivali district of Andheri East. The building holds about 14,450 sqm (155,538 sq ft) of colocation space on a site with private parking for up to 211 vehicles, and Equinix describes it as one of the largest retail data centers in the city. MB3 launched with an initial US$95 million investment providing more than 1,370 cabinets, with the design scaling to more than 5,475 cabinets at full build-out. It is engineered with direct-to-chip liquid cooling to support AI training and inference alongside hybrid multicloud workloads, running N+2 cooling redundancy, and connects to the existing MB1/MB2 campus over dedicated dark fiber. The site's 2025 sustainability disclosure lists solar RECs sourced through an India power-purchase agreement plus wind/solar I-RECs. No overall site power capacity in MW or third-party certifications have been published for MB3 yet.
