NTT DATA's Global Data Centers division is building Jakarta 2 Annex (JKT2A) as an extension to its existing Jakarta 2 campus in central Jakarta, about 20 km from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The seven-story building adds 12 MW of IT load across more than 5,800 square meters of white space, with air-cooled data halls engineered for rack densities up to 40 kW — well above typical enterprise colocation and aimed at hyperscale and AI tenants. NTT topped out the building in July 2025 after passing one million safe work-hours on site, and is targeting completion in early 2026. JKT2A is designed to connect by fiber to NTT's larger Jakarta 3 facility in Bekasi and to tap into a campus network NTT says reaches more than 150 telcos, ISPs and fiber carriers. The addition is part of NTT DATA's pledge to run its Indonesian campus on 100% renewable energy, and sits within a more than $10 billion global data center investment NTT has earmarked for 2023-2027.
