SM+ SMX01 Jakarta

SMX01 is a flagship data center under construction in the central business district of Jakarta, developed by SM+ Data Centers, the infrastructure arm of the Sinar Mas group, together with investment partner Korea Investment Real Asset Management and the LG CNS and SM+ joint venture LG Sinar Mas, which designs and operates the building. The partners held a topping-out ceremony in May 2026 and now move to finishing key supporting systems, data hall readiness, testing and commissioning, with a ready-for-service target in the fourth quarter of 2026. The building is described as AI-ready and carrier-neutral, and SM+ has signed a memorandum with the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association APJII covering neutral infrastructure access. The operator has not published a headline IT capacity, cooling design, PUE or certification for the site, so those fields are left empty here. Trade press reported in August 2026 that Taiwanese cloud provider Konst agreed to lease capacity at SMX01. For buyers in Jakarta, the project adds core-city capacity at a time when most new supply is being built in the Cikarang and Cibitung corridors east of the capital.
