Equinix TY11

TY11 is Equinix's largest retail IBX data center in Tokyo by floor space, occupying roughly 11,553 square meters across a five-storey steel structure in Ariake, a waterfront district of Koto-ku. Marketed as "the new Equinix Tokyo data centre TY11" at launch, it extends the operator's dense Tokyo Bay-area cluster that already includes the TY3/TY5 pair and the TY9/TY10 pair in Koto-ku and Bunkyo-ku respectively. Like Equinix's other Tokyo retail sites, TY11 offers direct access to Japan's internet exchange points, the Tokyo Stock Exchange and financial-services network partners, but it distinguishes itself with a higher-voltage 240V/415V power distribution design compared with the 120V/208V used across most of the operator's older Tokyo facilities. The site carries Equinix's compliance portfolio for Japan, including FISC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 50001, LEED, PCI DSS and SOC 1/SOC 2 Type II attestations, alongside green-facade and LED-lighting sustainability features. Equinix has not published a year-opened date, IT power capacity in MW, or tenant and network-provider counts for TY11.
