Orange Jordan Marj Al-Hammam Data Center

Orange Jordan operates its Marj Al-Hammam Data Center in the Marj Al-Hammam area of Amman as the flagship of its two-building Jordanian colocation portfolio, alongside the smaller Hashem Data Center elsewhere in the capital. The telecom operator, part of the Jordan Telecom Group under France's Orange S.A., markets the site as the nation's first Tier III-certified data center and offers colocation, hosting and connectivity services out of the building to enterprise and carrier customers. Uptime Institute's public awards registry confirms the claim with an unusually complete set of three awards for the site — Tier III Certification of Design Documents, Tier III Certified Constructed Facility, and Tier III Gold Certification of Operational Sustainability — the only Jordanian facility in the registry to hold all three. Orange's own site describes the facility as built to TIA-942, ISO 27001 and ANSI/BICSI standards with 24/7 monitored access, but does not publish IT power capacity, floor area, rack count or a year of construction. As with most of the Amman market, the building's core value proposition is domestic data residency and carrier-neutral connectivity for customers that would otherwise have to colocate outside the country.
