Zain Jordan built its Data Center & Disaster Recovery facility, branded "The Bunker," at King Hussein Business Park in Amman and launched it in September 2019. The mobile operator designed the site with a militarized physical shell — 2-tonne iron doors and reinforced concrete walls roughly two meters thick — around a conventional data hall offering redundant power, cooling and communications plus onsite Network Operations and Security Operations Centers. Uptime Institute's public registry credits the facility with the same triple award held by Orange Jordan's flagship site: Tier III Certification of Design Documents, Tier III Certified Constructed Facility, and Tier III Gold Certification of Operational Sustainability. Zain markets the facility both for its own network resilience and as a disaster-recovery and colocation option for enterprise customers. Neither Zain's press materials nor the Uptime registry disclose the building's IT power capacity, floor area or rack count.
