Why prices sit where they do

Lebanon's sole catalog entry is Infostructure's Kfour facility in the Keserwan district north of Beirut, the only site in the country with an Uptime Institute Tier IV Certification of Constructed Facility; the operator does not publish power capacity, floor space or a year-opened date. Local reporting on new capacity is thin, and the wider Beirut market runs mostly enterprise and telecom-operator rooms rather than marketed colocation. Electricity pricing is not tracked here: state utility Électricité du Liban has supplied only a few hours of grid power a day for several years, so commercial and data-centre loads run overwhelmingly on private diesel generation billed separately from the nominal EDL tariff, making a single $/kWh figure meaningless for this market. Infostructure's Tier IV certification is a notable data point given the country's chronic power-grid instability.
