Africa Data Centres LOS1

LOS1 is Africa Data Centres' flagship building in Nigeria, located in Eko Atlantic City, a purpose-built special economic zone reclaimed from the Atlantic off Lagos's Victoria Island coastline. The facility holds an ANSI/TIA-942-B Rated-3 Constructed Facility certification, awarded by certifier Capitoline in November 2023 and valid through November 2026 — a formal third-party certification rather than a marketing "built to" claim. The building provides 20.65 MW of critical IT load across 10 data halls totalling 9,800 m² of white space, with cold-aisle containment for cooling efficiency. It connects to the Konnect Africa Internet Exchange Point (KIXP) and to the operator's pan-African fibre backbone, giving Lagos-based customers direct routes to Africa Data Centres' other national and continental sites. As with the operator's other markets, LOS1 also carries ISO 27001 certification and PCI DSS compliance. The site is one of several data centre buildings now operating or under construction in the Eko Atlantic free zone, alongside a newer hyperscale build under way from Nxtra by Airtel Africa on the same reclaimed-land development.
