A-FLOW, a joint venture between AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. and Singapore-based FLOW Digital Infrastructure, launched ML1 on 28 November 2025 as the first of three planned buildings on a greenfield campus in Biñan, Laguna, roughly 35 km south of Metro Manila. Phase one delivers 6 MW of IT load, with the joint venture targeting 36 MW once all three buildings are complete. AyalaLand and FLOW cite Laguna's lower exposure to seismic and flood risk compared with parts of Metro Manila as a reason for the site, positioning the campus as a resilience-focused alternative to the capital's established data center corridor. ML1 operates as a carrier-neutral facility with multiple points of entry for fiber, intended to give colocation tenants, enterprises and cloud providers route redundancy without depending on a single telecom. The launch makes A-FLOW one of a growing number of local real-estate-and-telecom partnerships — alongside STT GDC's Ayala- and Globe-backed venture — betting that Philippine cloud and AI demand will outgrow Metro Manila's existing capacity.
