STT Cavite 1

STT Cavite 1 was STT GDC Philippines' first data center outside Metro Manila, opened in General Trias, Cavite in 2015 and later folded into the STT GDC Philippines joint venture alongside Globe Telecom and Ayala Corporation. The operator discloses just over 4 MW of IT load for the building and has published no floor space or year-opened figures beyond the original opening date reported at the time. What sets Cavite 1 apart in the Philippine portfolio is certification: it holds Uptime Institute's Tier III Certification of Design Documents, making it the only building STT GDC names in a dedicated certification announcement for the Philippines, ahead of the newer Fairview and Cavite 2 buildings, which are still only targeting design-level ratings. Cavite 1 now anchors a two-building campus alongside Cavite 2, under construction nearby, and STT GDC positions the pair to interconnect with its Makati facility for combined enterprise and hyperscale connectivity in the Calabarzon corridor south of Manila.
