DAMAC Digital RUH01

DAMAC Digital's RUH01 is the DAMAC-owned EDGNEX data center brand's entry point into Saudi Arabia, located in Industrial City 2 on the outskirts of Riyadh, roughly 19 km from the downtown core. The building sits on a 17,720 sqm plot and was designed for a maximum IT load of 20 MW, going live in the third quarter of 2023 as part of EDGNEX's push to build a regional data center footprint alongside its existing sites in Thailand, Indonesia, Greece and Turkey. As is typical for EDGNEX facilities, the operator markets the site to hyperscale and enterprise colocation tenants rather than retail customers, positioning it within Saudi Arabia's broader push to expand in-country compute capacity under its Vision 2030 digital economy program.
