JB2, completed in November 2017, was the first building on Teraco's Bredell Campus in Glen Marais, Kempton Park, east of Johannesburg near OR Tambo International Airport. The operator describes it as built to international hyperscaler specifications, with over 6,000 m² of technical deployment space (5,400 m² of white space by Teraco's own key-attributes figure) and a resilient 24 MVA power supply feeding 14 MW of IT load. Teraco says the design incorporates elements of different data centre tiering standards along with additional fault-tolerance enhancements, though the operator does not claim a formal Uptime Institute Tier certification for the site — it markets the campus on a self-reported "99.999%" uptime design figure instead. JB2 sits alongside the larger JB4 building, opened five years later on the same Bredell Campus, and connects into Teraco's wider Johannesburg interconnection ecosystem centred on the Isando Campus and the NAPAfrica internet exchange.
