QTT-MAD1 is the first data center of Quetta Data Centers, a platform created by real-estate investor Azora with Core Tech Capital to build Edge, AI-oriented facilities across Spain and Portugal. The Tres Cantos site, north of Madrid, started construction with capacity doubled to 20 MW across roughly 11,880 sqm of building space, including about 3,200 sqm of IT data halls delivering 6.45 MW of IT load at 5 kW per rack. Quetta designed the facility around closed-loop direct liquid cooling, targeting zero net water consumption (WUE of 0) and a PUE below 1.15, running on 100% renewable electricity. The Uptime Institute lists the site as a Tier III Certification of Design Documents. Tres Cantos is the first of six planned Quetta Edge data centers across the Iberian peninsula, part of a program the company says will exceed €450 million in total investment, with a second project already underway in Barcelona.
