Sollefteå is the most ambitious of atNorth's announced Swedish sites: a planned 300 MW campus on a 50-hectare greenfield plot in Långsele, inside the Hamre industrial park roughly 490 km north of Stockholm. No construction start date has been published, and atNorth's own site still describes it in future tense as a facility that 'will support' direct liquid cooling. The design targets extreme densities by data center standards — up to 1 MW per rack, with the ability to host clusters drawing 10 MW of liquid-cooled load — aimed at large AI training deployments rather than retail colocation. atNorth cites the region's cold climate and hydropower-heavy grid as the basis for a claim of 100% renewable energy, one of the few places the operator states that figure outright rather than describing power only as 'carbon-free.' As with the rest of atNorth's portfolio, any 'Tier 3' language on the site is a self-description, not an Uptime Institute certification.

  • Design target up to 1 MW/rack, 10 MW liquid-cooled clusters
  • 100% renewable energy explicitly claimed (hydropower-heavy regional grid)
  • No construction start date published — announced stage
  • Aimed at large-scale AI training deployments
