Why prices sit where they do

Digital Realty (Interxion) is currently the only operator represented in Sweden in the catalog, with six disclosed facilities in the Kista district of Stockholm (STO1-STO6) and zero published power capacity in MW. STO6, the largest by floor space at roughly 8,300 sqm, sits on a separate street from the other five and runs an inverse redundancy profile — N+1 UPS with N+2 cooling, against 2N UPS and N+1 cooling for its siblings. All six rely on remote seawater cooling that the operator says eliminates mechanical cooling for more than half the year, and all carry the same SOC 2/PCI-DSS/ISO compliance stack. Non-household electricity runs roughly $0.08-0.11/kWh depending on consumption band (Eurostat, H2 2025/H1 2025), among the cheaper grids in Western Europe thanks to a hydro- and nuclear-heavy mix. Coverage is a single operator's public disclosure, not the full Stockholm market — an early marker for a country the catalog has only just begun to track.
