Chief Telecom LY2

LY2, marketed as a "Cloud AI Intelligent Data Center," is Chief Telecom's newest building in the Neihu Science Park cluster in Taipei, alongside the operator's older L.Y., T.F. and H.D. buildings. Chief Telecom's own site lists the address as No. 68, Ruiguang Road, Neihu District, and describes a seven-story-above-ground, two-basement structure with roughly 160,000 square feet (about 14,900 m²) of space and 20 MW of total power capacity, fed by dual high-voltage substations with N+2 generators and 2N UPS redundancy. The operator states the building supports both air- and liquid-cooling, with per-rack density ranging from 10 kW up to 150 kW, and cites a seismic design rated for magnitude-7 events (0.41G). LY2 reached commercial operation in 2024, with press reports citing roughly 80% occupancy by the end of that year. Chief Telecom's marketing describes the design as meeting "Tier 4 standard," but this is the operator's own characterization rather than a published third-party Uptime Institute or EPI certification.
