Why prices sit where they do

Tajikistan's catalog holds two Dushanbe facilities of very different character: a state-owned data center built for the government's Smart City program, listed as a client facility in the Uptime Institute's Tier Certification awards registry without a publicly extractable tier level, and darya.ai's NVIDIA H200 GPU cluster, described as the country's first, inaugurated in June 2025 and run on hydropower for enterprise, government and research users. A separate, much larger green AI campus announced by darya.ai and partner Yotta Data Services (up to 100 MW) remains at the collaboration-agreement stage as of this entry and is not yet built. No electricity-tariff benchmark is set for Tajikistan: GlobalPetrolPrices (Dec 2025) lists both residential and business rates at effectively $0.000/kWh, a heavily subsidized figure not representative of large-load commercial supply, so the catalog omits a synthetic number rather than publish a misleading one, consistent with its treatment of Venezuela and Bolivia.
