</a>Announced as a £350 million, 33MW facility (KMAN-01), Kao Data's Manchester campus at Kenwood Point in Reddish, Stockport is under development with operations targeted for Q3 2027. On completion it is billed by Kao as Northern England's largest data centre, spanning 40,000 sqm of total space with 11,000 sqm of technical space and room for more than 4,000 racks. The design follows Kao's established template: BREEAM 'Excellent' architecture, a target PUE of 1.2, and certification to NVIDIA's DGX-Ready standard aimed squarely at GPU and AI/HPC deployments rather than general enterprise colocation. Manchester extends Kao's UK footprint beyond its Harlow and Slough sites into the North of England, positioning the campus to serve AI, HPC and cloud customers who want scale outside the congested London/Slough corridor while still drawing on 100% renewable power.
