Crusoe AI Campus (Blue Energy, Calhoun County)

This is an early-stage AI campus Crusoe plans to build on a 1,600-acre site near the Port of Victoria in Calhoun County, Texas, paired with a dedicated power plant from nuclear developer Blue Energy. Blue Energy's plan is to build "up to 1.5 gigawatts" of generation using a gas-to-nuclear approach: natural-gas turbines would power the campus first, with power delivery targeted as early as 2028, before the site transitions to nuclear generation by around 2031 using Blue Energy's modular, shipyard-manufactured reactor design. No tenant, building count or data-center-specific power figure has been published for the Crusoe campus itself — the 1.5 GW figure describes the power plant's planned generation capacity rather than a confirmed IT load, so it is not used as the facility's power rating here. The partnership is presented as the same model Crusoe has used with land/power partners at its other Texas sites, with Crusoe responsible for designing, building and operating the data center.
