Google Fort Wayne

Google broke ground on its Fort Wayne campus in northeast Indiana in 2024, describing it as a $2 billion data center investment built in collaboration with Ivy Tech Community College on workforce development. The company's own materials list Fort Wayne as an operational data center location and the center of its Skilled Trades and Readiness (STAR) program, which prepares local workers for construction and skilled-trades careers tied to the buildout. Google credits its Indiana operations with $8.5 billion in economic activity generated for state businesses, nonprofits, publishers and developers in 2025, and reports more than $14 million in philanthropic giving to Indiana organizations since 2008 alongside over 278,000 residents trained through Grow with Google programs. The company also states its employees have logged more than 9,000 volunteer hours with Indiana nonprofits and schools since 2007. No power-capacity figure, building count, floor area or specific completion date has been published for the Fort Wayne site.
