NTT Ashburn VA11 Data Center

NTT Ashburn VA11 is, by the operator's own naming, part of the Ashburn portfolio, but it actually sits on a separate campus in Gainesville, Virginia, roughly 20 km from the Data Center Alley cluster where NTT's VA1–VA9 buildings are concentrated. NTT describes it as its second Northern Virginia campus. At a planned 96 MW of critical IT load across more than 300,000 sq ft (roughly 27,900 sqm), it is the largest single facility in NTT's disclosed North American portfolio, well ahead of the 32–36 MW buildings on the main Ashburn campus. The design uses N+1 distributed redundancy per 8 MW power vault, with fan coil wall cooling, hot-aisle containment and closed-loop water cooling — the same cooling approach NTT is deploying across its newer US builds (VA4, VA7, Chicago CH2/CH3, Dallas TX4, Phoenix PH4). The facility is still in pre-lease construction, targeting opening in early 2027, so its capacity figures describe the plan rather than a commissioned building. No specific third-party certification is named on the public page, and no renewable-energy percentage is disclosed.
